In Her Rhythm is a series about the women who wear PLAH and the stories their pieces carry. The first chapter takes us to Beirut, to Patricia Belbol, CEO of Belbol Ameublement.
I A house of fabrics
Patricia has spent her life among textiles. Since 1997, the Belbol family has brought fabrics and wall coverings from the great houses of Europe to homes and projects across the Middle East.
She still travels to Italy, France and Germany to choose each collection herself. Belbol advises on every project in person, from a single cushion to a full residence, and a third generation is now joining the family business.

II The first piece
Her story with PLAH began with a gift. Her son discovered the house in Milan and brought her a Palma Ring in Milano champagne.
From that first ring, her collection has kept growing, piece by piece. Today she shares it with her daughter, choosing pieces for her too.

III Like silk
Patricia collects jewelry from the great houses, so she knows what she is looking at. In PLAH, she says, she found something she had never seen before.
For a woman who works with textiles every day, the anodized titanium reads as fabric. She describes its colour as a second skin, soft as silk, and feels truly represented in it.
For the house, Patricia is a client who became like family. Strong, independent and tireless, she never sets aside her femininity or her dreams, and her family remains the engine of everything she does.

IV Her next piece
The piece she dreams of next is the Cayena Ring in yellow gold and turquoise titanium. She loves the sea, the beaches of Beirut and the summers she spends with her husband on the Italian and French coast, and that colour takes her straight back to the water.
On her sunlit skin, she says, it looks “funky”. Her reason is simple, and it may be the best description of how she wears every piece: life is not meant to be taken so seriously. You have to have fun.

Life is not meant to be taken so seriously. You have to have fun.
