Titanium. A second skin.
Why PLAH creates fine jewelry in anodized titanium and 18K gold.

Titanium is at the heart of PLAH. Light, strong and endlessly colourful, it allows jewelry to grow in scale and movement without weight: pieces that feel less like objects and more like a second skin.
Sebastián Plah grew up surrounded by colour, between Barranquilla and Cartagena de Indias. Gold and coloured stones demand minimum thicknesses that make a piece heavy. He discovered titanium during his studies of alternative materials, and found in it the freedom he was looking for.

I Colour without paint
The colour of PLAH titanium is not applied. It is created through anodization, a controlled electrical process that changes how light reflects on the surface of the metal. Champagne, Ice Blue, Pearl, Pistachio, Turquoise: each shade is light itself.

“I did not come to replace gold. Gold carries the stones and the light; titanium is the expression.”
Sebastián Plah
II Titanium and gold
In every PLAH piece, 18-karat gold and natural diamonds hold the brilliance, while titanium brings the colour, the lightness and the silky movement. Together they create fine jewelry that drapes the finger and the body like silk.

III Precision
Titanium does not forgive mistakes. Every joint, every gram, every balance has to be planned. Behind the free, organic forms lies an almost architectural precision. It was the Guacamaya earrings, winners at the VO Awards 2026, that made Sebastián fall in love with the material and its challenges.

IV Living with titanium
Titanium is hypoallergenic, resistant and remarkably light, made to be worn every day. Clean it with neutral soap and lukewarm water, and store each piece separately to protect its colour.
