Vicenzaoro. The VO Awards.

On 18 January 2026, at the Teatro Palladio in Vicenza, PLAH received the VO Award for Best in Special – Young (Under 30), in the first edition of the awards created by Vicenzaoro to celebrate excellence, talent and innovation in jewellery.

The winning piece was Guacamaya: earrings that capture the vibrant spirit of Colombia, uniting the fluid movement of traditional Colombian dance with the iridescent feathers of the native macaw. An international jury of experts from jewellery, fashion, gemmology, manufacturing and retail chose it among the finalists displayed in Hall 7.

Guacamaya is also the piece that made Sebastián Plah fall in love with titanium. Inspired by the Carnival of Barranquilla and the swing of a cumbia skirt, each earring moves on a hidden, articulated column, its colour built patiently in anodized titanium. Every joint, every gram, every balance had to be planned.

Two years earlier, PLAH had arrived at Vicenzaoro as the fair’s first officially selected emerging designer, after winning Digital Jewelry Week.
